Question: “Why am I so fascinated by the idea of the end of the world in its different interpretations??"has been troubling my mind for a long time. From an early age, to be precise. I’ve seen a lot of different films about aliens, disasters, wars. But what interested me most then was the idea of a “zombie apocalypse.”. Perhaps because in the field of films about “different endings” this feature was most successfully implemented at that time, and perhaps because in all films people die or run away like game, but in films about zombies people survived, long and hard. In such films, those few who were lucky remained, those who turned out to be stronger and faster, those who were cold-blooded. And the future is seen in such films. Yes, it’s different. People will have to rebuild, radically change their habits and lifestyle. They will have to survive, as our ancestors did 200 thousand years ago. But honestly! Survival of the fittest. So to speak, “nature Olympics”.
But that’s not the point. Now many people have become attracted to the idea of the end of the world. There is so much surrounding around all this that the idea itself has become a little pop advice. And the abundance of films about this contributes to its “population”. Soon no one will take this seriously anymore. They will begin to consider this another Hollywood invention, a myth, a fairy tale. Completely in vain. For “everything that has a beginning has an end,” and our end will also come someday. The question is different, in what form?

Most of us are more attracted to the end of the world associated with an alien invasion, zombies and other human nonsense. Why? Yes, because there are chances of salvation here. Here we can win, survive – in a word, become one of those who can see this post-apocalyptic world. Therefore, watching films about the ends of the world with the participation of nature, with its cataclysms, we all feel a little anxiety and depression inside. Every time we see in a film a half-kilometer tsunami wave heading towards a city, or a huge tornado, or a strong earthquake, it takes our breath away.
Just yesterday (already yesterday) one of my acquaintances uttered a banal thought that I had already heard a hundred times, but which stuck in my head like a thorn and prompted me to search for information on this topic on the Internet, videos on YouTube and the creation of this post.
